Rules of Engagement

At Vinceró we believe in the ethical use of mass communications, and we adhere not only to the CRTC’s rules for automated calling but also to our own strict guidelines.  They include the following:

  • No calling outside these hours:
    • Mon – Fri  9:30 AM – 8PM
      Sat   10:30 AM –5:00 PM 
      Sun  Noon – 5:00 PM
      Further time-of-day restrictions are available on request.
  • All our calls must be accompanied by a valid call-display number
  • We will not send out messages with objectionable or abusive content
  • We will avoid calling cell phones
  • When the dialed party hangs up, our software disconnects the call immediately
  • We do targeted dialing but not sequential dialing
  • We compile our own do-not-call lists and respect them for all campaigns
  • Courtesy redials on busy/no answer
  • No redials after hang-ups
  • Highly accurate answering-machine detection
  • Special message for answering machines, if requested
