Ivrnet Inc. Announces Major New Technology Implementation

Calgary, Alberta – November 20^th, 2008 – Ivrnet announces its first commercial implementation of services that verify the identity of a telephone caller using biometric tools that uniquely identify the caller’s voice. 

Over the last six months Ivrnet has been evaluating a number of leading edge biometric technologies for integration into its telephone center. In recent months the Company identified and piloted a project, with a particular biometric technology that best fit its wide client profile.  This first implementation was successful in assisting a government agency to identify attempted fraud in the submission of information over the telephone.  Following this initiative, similar biometric analytical capabilities are now being integrated into a number of Ivrnet platforms that can provide caller authentication for security conscious applications.

The new Ivrnet biometric capabilities are part of a continuing effort to offer clients the ability to add intelligent agents that are aware of their environment, and based upon that environment, can take direct action.  These agents are vital to making interaction with Ivrnet’s hosted services more natural feeling for people to use, This in turn, allows Ivrnet’s services to adapt to the user instead of making the user adapt to the service. And this is what separates Ivrnet from many industry competitors in the eyes of our customers.

With the successful deployment of these new services Ivrnet is also now offering biometric speaker identification in any of its custom applications, or as a service that runs in front of a client’s current application.
