Calgary Flames, Heritage Property & Ivrnet Launch New Interactive Contest
Calgary, Alberta – October 21, 2008
Heritage Property Corporation, Ivrnet Inc, and the Calgary Flames have jointly collaborated in the development of an exciting new in-game feature. Known as the “Hardest Working Flame”, it will allow Calgary Flames hockey fans to vote on a real-time in-game basis for their “hardest working” Calgary Flame. The new feature premiered with tremendous success during the recent exhibition season and made its’ regular season debut on Saturday October 11, 2008, when the Calgary Flames hosted the Vancouver Canucks in their regular season home opener.
Fans watching the Calgary Flames during home games or on Pay Per View will now have an opportunity to vote for their choice of the Hardest Working Flame. They can do so by placing a free call to a telephone number, highlighted during each game. In order to register a vote, the common core telephone number would end in their chosen player’s jersey number. The live results are then announced at the conclusion of each game. And as a thank you to fans, in each game one participating voter is randomly selected to win a Calgary Flames jersey.
Using Ivrnet's advanced telephone technology, the Calgary Flames and Heritage Property Corporation will showcase this most promising new fan participation feature.
“Heritage Property Corporation would like to thank the Calgary Flames and Ivrnet for enabling the offering of this unique promotional feature to fans of hockey and The Flames” said Neil Richardson, President of Heritage Property Corporation. “We believe this feature will provide both excitement for the fans and excellent community exposure for everyone involved”.
