Calgary, Alberta – June 29, 2005 – Ivrnet, a leading provider of web-based telephone services, is announcing today several key additions to its management team. This is just one of a series of announcements by Ivrnet to update the public on several new products and initiatives it plans to launch in the summer of 2005.
Dennis Leong has joined the company as Director, Strategic Relationships. With 20 years of sales, marketing and customer support experience behind him, Dennis’s goal is to refine the company's market focus where it's already established, and to seek new business opportunities in undiscovered areas. Prior to joining Ivrnet, Dennis was the Director of Business Development at AD Graphix Inc, where he met or exceeded sales targets each quarter. Prior to AD Graphix Dennis co-founded and expanded a private IT Services company.
Mike Harrison has joined Ivrnet as Vice President of Sales. Mike has a wealth of top-level management and entrepreneurial experience at both new and established high-tech companies in Canada. He is a specialist in helping smaller companies grow and thrive in highly competitive environments, with his skills in sales, financing, team-building and communications. Prior to joining Ivrnet, Mike’s more recent posts were as the Director of Sales at Bell in Western Canada and Vice President at Telus.
David Heyman has joined Ivrnet to establish and lead a soon-to-be-announced initiative in political and mass-market communications. David Heyman comes to Ivrnet from the Calgary Herald where he was the paper’s national and provincial affairs reporter. David has more than a dozen years' experience in journalism -- including print, TV and radio -- in both BC and Alberta. In addition to politics, he has covered beats such as education, health, crime, courts and multiculturalism. He has filed stories from various locations around the world such as Hong Kong and Israel, including the occupied West Bank.
“The staff additions of the last few months will assist Ivrnet in releasing several new and potentially lucrative products into the market over the balance of 2005,” said David Snell, President of Ivrnet. “The proven talent and records of success possessed by these individuals make their addition to the company one of the most significant events of the last year.”
In a related announcement June 15, Ivrnet announced the addition of Dave Bradley to its Board of Directors.
